Workshops
One of the best ways to master a new method or instrumentation technique is immersion in the field with experts in the topic. CUAHSI offers logistical support to instructors to plan and execute workshops that provide interdisciplinary perspectives on specific technologies, techniques, or topics that may not be available through any one institution. Most workshops are open to anyone to apply to participate, though preference is often given to students.

Snow Measurement Field School 2027
Accurate snowpack property measurements are needed as ground truth for remotely sensed data, as input for hydrological models, as input to ecological models, and as data when making avalanche forecasts. This course provides hands-on training and experience with snow measurements, to help directly with snow measurement research objectives and for interpreting snow measurements collected by others.
