Submit Proposal

We invite abstract submissions for posters to be presented during the 2023 CUAHSI Biennial Meeting June 11-14, 2023 at the Granlibakken Resort in Tahoe City, CA. The poster session will take place during the meeting on Monday, June 12 from 4-6:00 pm PT.

This year’s meeting theme is ‘Discovering New Horizons in Water Science.’ The water community is making important strides in addressing critical environmental and societal challenges in the face of growing stressors. As the connector among essentially all key systems on our planet, water research continues to reshape and evolve in its own unique way to address disciplinary and interdisciplinary challenges.

We encourage poster submissions from any aspect of water science research, especially pertaining to any of the meeting themes or session topics:

  • Inclusive and Collaborative Research

  • New Perspectives, Knowledge Frameworks, Ways of Learning, and Metrics of Success

  • Multi-Institutional Collaborative Projects

  • Building Resilience through Multi-Benefit Water and Watershed Management

  • Critical Zone Science

  • Education and Core Curriculum

  • Student Centered Research

  • Community Observers to Advance Water Science

  • Advances in Water Forecasting

  • CUAHSI and the Water Community

We also invite posters that describe the use of CUAHSI programs and services, such as our grants and fellowships, education and outreach materials, and data services.

We enthusiastically invite students and early career professionals to present posters, especially from those affiliated with primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs). CUAHSI has a limited amount of travel support available to help fund students and early career professionals who present posters to attend the meeting (see below).

There are a very limited number of oral lightning talk slots available. Please indicate on your submission form if you would like to be considered for a lightning talk.
