Women Advancing River Research started in February 2021. It is a monthly webinar series with female guest speakers from around the world. It was originally co-hosted and co-organized by Professor Li Li at Penn State University and Professor Ellen Wohl at Colorado State University. The 2026 series is co-hosted by Professor Li Li at Penn State University, Rebecca Barnes at Belmont Foundation and NSF, Devon Kerins at University College Dublin, Bryn Stewart at Caltech, Marguerite Xenopoulos at Trent University, and Margaret Zimmer at University of Wisconsin, Madison.
