The 2025 Water Prediction Innovators Summer Institute has officially wrapped, marking a major milestone: the 10th anniversary of this groundbreaking program. A new video presented by The University of Alabama and the Alabama Water Institute tells the history of the Summer Institute.
Launched in 2015 as a partnership between Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc. (CUAHSI) and The University of Alabama, this innovative interdisciplinary initiative has grown into the nation’s premier training ground for the next generation of water scientists. Over the past decade, the Institute has delivered cutting-edge research, fostered lasting collaborations, and helped drive innovations that are saving lives across the country.
