Lindsay Platt
Environmental Data Scientist, Lead of Operations (acting)Lindsay Platt (she/her) applies data science techniques to support CUAHSI business operations and interdisciplinary research through automated data processing, reporting, and visualizations. She is passionate about reproducibility and helping scientists discover that coding can be fun! Prior to CUAHSI, Lindsay was a Water Data Scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey where she led the water computational training program, automated data workflows, authored data releases, and developed data visualizations. She received her B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and is currently completing an M.S. in Freshwater and Marine Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Fun Fact: Lindsay loves to spend time on two wheels, from racing cyclocross to recreational mountain biking and commuting around town - rain, shine, or snow!
