Irene Garousi-Nejad

Irene Garousi-Nejad is a research scientist at CUAHSI, where she supports CUAHSI's water science research and education activities and extends CUAHSI's capabilities in hydrologic modeling, data analysis, and cloud computing. Before joining CUAHSI, Irene worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Earth System Science at Stanford University. She holds a doctoral degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah Water Research Laboratory at Utah State University and a master's degree in Agricultural Engineering – Water Resources Engineering from the University of Tehran.

Fun Fact: Irene enjoys hiking, reading, painting, and learning about outer space.
