Danielle Tijerina-Kreuzer

Danielle is a Research Scientist at CUAHSI, where she contributes to advancing water data management, hydrologic modeling, and related education activities. She specialized in physics-based hydrologic modeling, groundwater–surface water interactions, and high-performance computing workflows for large-scale hydrologic models. Danielle was previously a postdoctoral scholar in the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University. She also holds an MS in Hydrology from the Colorado School of Mines and a BA in Geography from Humboldt State University. Danielle previously served CUAHSI as a Hydrologist/Community Engagement Manager and has both participated in and organized the CUAHSI Summer Institute.
Fun Fact: Danielle enjoys weightlifting, a hobby she picked up at the University of Alabama gym while attending the CUAHSI Summer Institute.
