Abner Bogan (he/him) is a research analyst at CUAHSI, where he works at the intersection of environmental data science, open research, and community engagement to help water researchers publish and reuse high-quality datasets and build more reproducible workflows. Abner is passionate about supporting community-centered, transparent, and inclusive research. Prior to joining CUAHSI, Abner worked at a Canadian-based startup developing new chemistries for water treatment. He has a MASc in Chemical and Biological Engineering and a MEL in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia, along with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.

Fun Fact: Abner is an avid musician/producer and loves to practice Spanish!
