Registration/Application

The CUAHSI Virtual University (CVU) is an educational program that enables participating faculty to offer short, specialized courses to a broader student audience. The program consists of 4-week modules taught by faculty in participating institutions. Modules are self-contained and students at participating institutions can enroll in up to three modules and obtain credit through their home institution. Participating faculty teach their module and serve as instructor-of-record for students from their own institution who enroll in CVU, enabling all students at their institution an opportunity to enroll.

The CVU is designed to:

  • expand instructional impact by increasing reach,
  • expose students to a subdiscipline or specialized training that is not otherwise available,
  • broaden the academic network of participants, and
  • enhance the depth and breadth of graduate course offerings of participating institutions.

Faculty participation includes:

  • teaching a one-credit self contained course module over 4 weeks,
  • serving as the instructor-of-record for students at their institution, and.
  • earning teaching credit through your home institution.
