Lake Champlain Sea Grant is seeking a Program Specialist to lead communications, coordinate federal reporting, and support program initiatives for Lake Champlain Sea Grant and two allied programs.
Lake Champlain Sea Grant is housed within the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont (UVM). The program specialist will be responsible for communications content development, and planning, implementing, and evaluating a communications strategy. The specialist also leads federal reporting efforts, including requesting, reviewing, and synthesizing information, and supports fellowship programs and provides other administrative and extension programmatic assistance as needed.
Qualified candidates will be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Adobe Suite, Canva, or other design software, be familiar with WordPress or other web publishing tools, and have a demonstrated ability to work in both team settings and independently. A bachelor's degree and one to three years of related experience is required.
