A funded PhD graduate research assistantship position is available at Marquette University to study urban stormwater management with an anticipated start date of Aug 2022 or Jan 2023. The student will work on research projects in the areas of green stormwater infrastructure, drone remote sensing, and emerging stormwater contaminants. In addition to research, the student will receive unique training and experience in teaching to equip them for a potential academic career.
The research assistantship is funded through the Department of Education Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) program. As a requirement of the funding program, the PhD candidate must provide evidence that they are U.S. citizens or nationals, are permanent residents of the U.S., are documented by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to be in the U.S. for other than a temporary purpose and intend to become permanent residents, or are citizens of any one of the Freely Associated States.
