Graduate Programs at the University of Kentucky

The Bioenvironmental Graduate Program in the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Kentucky trains students to use biological, environmental and engineering sciences to develop sustainable solutions in areas of environmental protection and restoration; reduction of off-site transport and impacts of soil, nutrients, and chemicals; and reclamation of disturbed lands. The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Kentucky offers MS and PhD degrees in Geology; opportunities for student research in hydrogeology include groundwater-stream interactions, hydrology and water quality of karst watersheds, and recharge and hydrochemical evolution in regional aquifer systems.
