Graduate Programs at the University of Colorado
There are two programs within the University of Colorado:
- Hydrology, Water Resources & Environmental Fluid Mechanics is a graduate program within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering. The program is committed to education and research on the movement, transport, and distribution of surface and subsurface water in the environment across scales ranging from microscales to global scales. For more information, visit the program website at http://www.colorado.edu/ceae/research/hydrology-water-resources-environmental-fluid-mechanics.
- A second interdisciplinary Hydrologic Sciences Graduate Program offers a Graduate Certificate in Hydrologic Sciences and a PhD degree through the Interdepartmental Geophysics Program. The Hydrologic Sciences Graduate Program focuses on quantitative studies of water in the environment including its role in geologic and biogeochemical processes, ecosystem functions, and global elemental cycling.
