Background

Instrumentation services have been identified as one of the four fundamental areas for CUAHSI to pursue since its inception. A pilot project on a Hydrologic Measurement Facility was conducted between 2004 and 2008 and made a number of findings that can inform the committee on approaches to providing instrumentation services to the community.

Charge

The Instrumentation Standing Committee recommends to the CUAHSI Board on all aspects of providing instrumentation services to the hydrologic science community including policies, activities, and objectives. The committee also reviews existing instrumentation projects operated by CUAHSI or affiliated with CUAHSI in the context of those policies and objectives. The committee's foremost responsibility is to ensure that the activities serve the needs of the university research community. Download the Charge in PDF format.
