HIS Toolkit
The Hydrologic Information System Toolkit is a collection of software tools and resources developed by CUAHSI partners to address various aspects of hydrologic analysis. Currently, the tools include:
- HydroObjects HydroObjects is a .Net DLL with COM classes that support hydrology applications. In particular, the HydroObjects library assists programs without direct access to web services in downloading data from CUAHSI WaterOneFlow services.
(Download HydroObjects Setup File)
(Download HydroObjects Source Code) - ArcHydro Groundwater Toolbar (ArcGIS Toolbar) The Arc Hydro Groundwater toolbar is an Arc Scene toolbar with tools for creating three-dimensional features such as GeoVolumes, GeoSections, and BoreLines, which are part of the Arc Hydro groundwater data model. - GeoLearn A standalone application for remote sensing data. [more information]
- River Channel Morphology Model (ArcGIS Toolbar) River Channel Morphlogy Model (RCMM) is an ArcGIS toolbar for creating an anlytical description of river channels in three-dimensions. [more information]
- Time Series Analyst (standalone web application) The Time Series Analyst application, developed at Utah State University, is designed to provide users with plotting and export functionality for data at any United States Geological Survey (USGS) streamflow or water quality monitoring station in the United States. - Watershed and Stream Network Delineation (ArcGIS Toolbar) How to use the major functionality available in the Arc Hydro tools for raster analysis. The Arc Hydro tools are used to derive several datasets that collectively describe the drainage patterns of a catchment. [more information]
- HydroSeek HydroSeek allows data discovery over multiple and heterogeneous data sources. It relies on several web technologies such as Web Services, AJAX and OWL. CUAHSI Controlled Vocabulary and several other service ontologies comprise an important part of HydroSeek. [more information]
