The CUAHSI Water Data Center operates an internet based system (the CUAHSI Hydrologic Information System, CUAHSI-HIS) for storing and sharing water data. CUAHSI-HIS is based on a service oriented archtitecture and provides free centralized search, discovery and access for over 100 sources of water data for researchers, educators, students and the public.
CUAHSI also provided support for researchers to archive and share their research data within the system, and support water-science related organizations to publish and share their data through our catalog.
Visit our Water Data Center website to learn about the facility and to find the latest information about HIS.
CUAHSI and the Water Data Center (WDC) also supports researchers and developers who are utilizing and extending the CUAHSI HIS system.
CUAHSI HydroShare is a collaborative project between Utah State University (PI: David Tarboton) and RENCI (PI: Ray Idazak) that is partnering with the CUAHSI WDC and several other universities to extend the functionalities of CUAHSI-HIS and help hydrologists share and collaborate around data and models.
